Comfy Joey Dolly Sling Review

So I am a little late on posting this giveaway, since I try to start them on the 1st and 15th, but this one was worth the wait!  I was on vacation and didn't have a computer to use, so it wasn't really an option.

Someday I will probably have a laptop, but right now I only have desktops and blogging from my phone sucks.  Anyways, on to the review!

I was sent a Comfy Joey Dolly Sling to review.  I chose a Cacao Beach (Black) sling because I am a little weird about matching and figured it would go with everything better than a colored one.  When you order a dolly sling they ask you what color you want, how old the child that will be using it is, and what gender they are.  Yeah, I thought that last one was weird too, but it because they add fun colored rings, and most boys would be a little disappointed with the pretty purple rings on this one.  Hadlee is three, but I ordered one for 4-6 year olds, because she is as tall as the five year olds I know.  The one for 2-3 year olds would be shorter and the one for 7-10 year olds would be longer.

This sling is awesome!  It is made of linen, and is really light weight, but still seems strong.  Now I want one for me!  I am not a sling pro, and Hadlee was playing at the park while I took these pictures, so the fit might be a little off, but still very cute.  And quite practical too!  Little girls love to take their baby dolls places with them, but they don't tend to love carrying them on the way there, or once they get there.  Now I can be like, "Of course you can take your baby doll, go get your Comfy Joey!". 

It is high quality, and at $27.50 its not to expensive, compared to what you pay for other baby doll accessories.  (For comparison, Bitty Baby's Travel Seat is $42, an Ergo Doll Carrier is $25, a Boba Mini is $29.95, and a Beco Mini is $30).

God Made You Just Right by Jill Roman Lord - A Review

Most of the books I review are for adults, but I got a chance to review God Made You Just Right, which is a board book.  From the back of the book: You're brilliantly created, and there's no one else like you!  With simple, rhyming text and whimsical illustrations, this book is a welcome reminder for little ones that God created each of us in just the right way. I love the artwork, it is colorful and engaging, which should catch the attention of small children, but still nice to look at for adults.  The text is encouraging and has a good rhyme pattern, which I always appreciate in books for small children.  It isn't a story, but poetry telling children that God knew exactly what He was doing when He created each part of each person.  I love that it talks about the things you uniquely need to be able to fulfill God's plan for you.
