Last year I made a few resolutions. As expected I failed miserably.
Skinny - Epic Failure. Instead of losing weight I gained it. I am well on my way to being a fat girl. 130 lbs isn't that much worse than 120 lbs right?
Tidy - The only one I didn't completely screw up. I mean right NOW my house is destroyed, but that is due to a combination of trying to put Christmas decorations away and packing (more on that later). I have done a lot better at keeping the house clean, although I am still no where near where I would like to be.
Well-Read (reading the Bible) - Another epic failure. On the same note I did go to church quite a bit this year.
For 2012 I decided to make a list of things I would LIKE to do. But its just a list of potential things, which I want to do, but if I get even a couple of them done I will be happy.
-HAVE A BABY - This is my number one goal, but one that I have pretty much no control over.
-Lose 10 lbs
-Lose 20 lbs
-Lose 30 lbs
-Drink 2 glasses of water a day - Okay I am never going to get to 8 like I am supposed to, so two is a start.
-Keep my house clean(er)
-Read the New Testament
-Read the whole Bible

OH, I love your list. I should do this. Our number ones are the same - have a baby. I would also like to get better about reading my Bible every day. We should hold each other accountable? What do you think. We haven't forgotton about the Dave Ramsey thing, just trying to figure out a couple things first.
ReplyDeleteWe should definitely hold each other accountable. How do you propose we go about that? A reading plan we both follow? Just checking in every so often?
