I am so cheap that if I go back to the restaurant I ate at last weekend I am bringing a plate and a piece of glassware with a lid!
The restaurant I ate at last weekend was really good. I have eaten there a couple of times before, and it is always delicious food.
But while looking at the menu I saw that they charge 25¢ for a to-go box! I have never ever heard of that!
And they charge $1.00 for an extra plate so you can split a meal!
I can kind of understand the to-go box fee, they have to pay for the box after all, but the plate fee is ridiculous. It doesn't cost them any more money if you split a meal, they are just being greedy.
Would you pay for these new (to me at least) fees?

Wow, that's a first for me hearing of the fee for an extra plate. Not quite sure I understand the concept behind that except to get extra money.
ReplyDeleteExactly! There is no reason at all, its the same amount of food and washing one dish doesn't cost anything!

ReplyDeleteI should write to them and complain, but I hate doing that when I like the food... plus they are a tiny little independent restaurant, which makes me even more hesitant to complain.
